    IR3220 Drum Info

    Can i swap a partially used black drum unit (34%) used ,for a worn out one (174%).I also looked on E-Bay and they're selling a drum reset chip.Any info would be appreciated

    the chip will not improve your copy quality alone. You would have to install a new drum and charging roller with the chip to improve your image quality and that would only last for a little while till your starter in the drum unit wore out.

    yes you can move drums between machines.

    rebuilt drum units never last the way OEM drums do and usually end up causing a bigger headache in the end due to toner dumping and the issues that causes in the end.
    Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

      Agreed.

      Don't cut corners. Buy a new drum unit and be done with it.
