    ERROR E355 ON IR1600

Hi guys am working on IR1600 and shows the mentioned error.Initially it had error code E245 and i replaced the DC pcb which shows E355. I took the same board to another machine and it worked well. I tried to get another pcb and shows the same error. When i checked on the HVT pcb i got some components burnt and replaced with a new one. However the machine still gives the same error.I have tried to do all the resettings in service mode with no success, all the wiring is ok.can some one assist with this problem, thanks in advance.

did you keep the SN board with the original machine when you swapped the DCON? This usually causes the E355 code.

In service mode under #12-CLEAR>ERR there is an E335-CLR You can try and execute this as well to clear the error code.

          READ-------

It is illegal to tamper with this circuit in an attempt to falsify the counter readings of any Canon
          Copier.
Neither the Counter Memory PCB nor the Serial Number PCB can be swapped to other equipment. The Counter Memory PCB keeps track of the total count, which cannot be erased or changed. The service counters are retained by the Main Controller. These counters can be reset manually through service mode. When the Counter Memory PCB must be replaced, after installing the new one, the new Counter Memory PCB learns the Total Count from the Main Controller. This is retained in SRAM on the Main Controller PCB and held active by means of an on
          board battery.

Counter Memory PCB is a matched board with the Serial Number PCB and cannot be swapped with one from any other equipment. Doing so may change the error code and will not correct the problem and will certainly add to confusion, thus increasing downtime.

Never replace two boards in the Soft Counter circuit at the same time! This would include any
two of either the Counter Memory PCB, Main Controller PCB (or Image Processor depending on
          model) and Serial Number PCB-
Doing so may change the symptom to an E355 code or E354 code, which would be unclearable.
