Canon IR C5185 fax question

Hello

I have two used Canon irc5185s. One has a fax option that I would like to put onto the other. Is there anything I need to do other than plug it into the second machine?

To put the fax just pick up the fax board and put on the machine you want and after updating the system.

To put the fax just pick up the fax board and put on the machine you want and after updating the system.

Make sure you upgrade the firmware on both the machine and the fax board. There are 3 different levels of firmware for this model now and if your machine and fax board do not match you will get an error code.

hello, check the resistance of the lamp unit of the upper roller and the fixing unit thermistor. clear error then run service mode.
Sorry but your question has nothing to do with the topic you posted the irac5051, it would be better the next time you open a new topic for IR1600.ok
