For fear of getting my ass chewed off, looking for IR2270 Firmware

As I said, I am looking for the firmware for an IR2270. Will purchase or trade for material I already have.

Assistance is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Why do you think you need to upgrade firmware?

I need the firmware because I had to replace the ADF DC Controller PCB. For reasons unknown it can read paper sizes when copying but when we go to fax, no matter how I change the setting in the service mode, it thinks all the paper is 11" x 17"

            DADF-N1.pdf

Enter Service Mode > FEEDER > FUNCTION > TRY-LTR, move tray side guides to the LTR / 11x17 position and press [OK].
Press TRY-LTRR, move tray side guides to the STMT/LTRR/LGL position and press [OK].
Press Reset key twice to end Service Mode. Hold the power switch on the control panel until the shutdown screen displays and then press [start]. Wait for the message that indicates the main power switch can be shut off and then shut the main power switch off. Turn the main power switch on.

Note: The result of the Tray Width adjustment is stored on the reader controller pcb.
As such, unlike previous ADF's, you will need to make this adjustment at the time of installation or after RCON CLEAR, so that the result is stored in the reader controller pcb.

            do the same for AB-Configuration
            FEEDER>FUNCTION>TRY-A4
            adjust tray>to A4/A3
TOUCH OK TO REGISTER A4 WIDTH
            TOUCH>A5R
            adjust tray>to A5R
            TOUCH >TRY-A5R TO REGISTER WIDTH

firmware would not have solved this issue.
I really wish the untrained would post the problem they are having first so those of us who are trained could help with a solution.

Not to be offensive, but this is the same kind of technician who would go to the auto parts store and buy an alternator because his car's battery wasn't charging, just to find out that the ground cable was loose. Then he would try to return the alternator for a refund...

At least you offered something in return, and for that I thank you.
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
