yes it confirm that working fine for both machine(iR 7200, iRA C5045i) it send divided with PDF and TIFF format. only for the 2 machine iRC 3380i have same problem.

yah, that is my next plan to do to replace MN-Cont., i'm waiting for the parts.

why are u replacing the MAIN PCB. ????

When the Divide into Pages feature is enabled for a Send job, each page scanned in will be sent as a separate TIFF or PDF file.
For example, a scan job of 5 pages set to send to e-mail in the PDF file format will result in an e-mail being sent with 5 attached PDF files (each page scanned as a separate attached file). When the Divide into Pages feature is disabled for a Send job, all the pages scanned in will be sent as 1 file. For example, a scan job of 5 pages set to send to e-mail in the PDF file format will result in an e-mail being sent with1 attached PDF file (each page scanned-included in a single attached file).

The Divide into Pages option will appear as a separate icon on the Send screen.

hi chameleon,

acctualy i do MMI clear due to the complain of the customer why the RECALL button is not activated after sending. so i try the MMI then it works the recall after 2 weeks customer call again and telling me that machice is not sending proper file format if divided function is on.

When the Divide into Pages feature is disabled for a Send job, all the pages scanned in will be sent as 1 file. Since a JPEG file cannot contain multiple images, it is not an available option when the Divide into Pages feature is disabled (multiple images will be sent as 1 file).

When the Divide into Pages feature is enabled for a Send job, each page scanned in will be sent as a separate file.
The JPEG file format is an available option as each file will contain only 1 image. To make the TIFF / JPEG file format option selectable, simply enable the Divide into Pages feature by pressing the Divide into Pages button located directly beneath the File Format drop down menu on the Send tab of the copier LCD screen. The following file format options will then be available:
- TIFF / JPEG
- PDF / PDF
- PDF (Compct)


When you scan to email using the '.pdf' file format, and the recipient forwards the email attachment to a different user using Microsoft Outlook. The .pdf file is converted to a Winmail.dat file and cannot be opened by the secondary recipient.
There is no problem when scanning directly to the secondary recipient.

Solution :
The problem is not an imageRUNNER problem. Microsoft has acknowledged the problem and has recommended to change the settings in MS Outlook. Please click the link below to access the solution from Microsoft's web site.

Hi, Teckat

Great & detailed explanation of the copier's feature but we are still scratching our heads as to why other 2 copiers can do it without issue. Adding "insult" to it, is from Yazj's Customer claimed that it works fine previously.

Yazj, you might go over Service manual to confirm only Mn-Cont is only PCB that do the conversion, or is there "sub-daughter" board that handle it. Good Luck
