iRC5185i Print inconsistent, printing slow

Hai guys, first of all, i would like to wish you all MERRY CHRISMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Been having this problem since last week, I installed one unit iRC5185i at one print shop beginning of the December, for the first two weeks the machine is performing ok but since the beginning of last, the machine is starting to give problems, print ai file takes a long time ( 64MB takes about half an hour) whereby in the beginning it takes only few minutes to print a 700MB ai file. Where/what is wrong with the machine, hoping to get some help. and this morning the customer call up and compliant that the print is not consistent, there is a lot of different with the first copy and the last copy (20 pages). Have replaced one set of New Drum Unit before deliver the machine.

A 5185 is an older model so I would do a scandisk on HD then make sure system soft is current! Then take Memory out and reinstall it! And make sure all filters are all clean! Good luck

there are a lot of variables that could cause your print processing speed issue.

Print driver - make sure you the correct one and that it is configured properly. Also which driver are you printing from UFR, PCL, PS?
How is the printer setup on your PC? Local, network?
What type of port are you using?
file type - what application are you using?
