    Canon iR 3300 Drum

How hard is it to change the Drum and Blade on an iR 3300? or is it better to just replace the whole Drum Unit?

its not worth the time to replace the individual parts, just get a unit and install that way.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

It's easier to install new drum unit, but changing OPC and blade isn't so hard. Used to change these OPC kits from katun. They lasted for 100K, but after 300-400k you have to change whole unit, cause there were problems with charge roller.

Yes it is not hard, I have been doing them for about 5 years and never had a problem. Drum and blade kit cost about $16.25 and takes about 30 minutes to do. We rebuild them about 4 to 5 times and then the PCR starting going bad so we buy another one and start the process over.
