    IR 5000 Extra Rom Boot

    hello everybody.
    I have A question.I installed and added new rom beside my main rom on my Ir5000 Copier.
    But My Copier boot via main Rom.How can i Boot with Extra rom that i have installed ?
    Is there any option that i have to change on Copier Setting Menu ?

      there are two different types of main controllers for the 5000 series. The A1 and the A2. The A1 would have had an expansion board and NIC card with it for printing where the A2 you would have replaced the Boot rom and installed a NIC card. After installing you have to upgrade firmware to an N version to enable the printing feature.
      Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

          In order to upgrade a 5000 you had to put an extra boot rom in, flash it and then remove the unflashed one. not meant to run with 2 boot roms
          It is not meant to run with 2 boot roms
          Is this what you are trying to do?
