    Canon IR2020 Keeps Booting ON/OFF Problem!

    I'm servicing Canon IR2020 The machine after I turned on from main power wsitch and I put the IP address it started to Boot ON and OFF by itself and it keep repeating and I can't do anything. Any idea about what's going on?

      Power off printer>Check the LAN pcb on the Image Processor pcb, > remove/unplug it to test >power up with out LAN Pcb--This is the pcb that the network cable plugs into and is also referred to as the NIC (Network Interface Card) by some people.
      u may need to Replace the LAN pcb FM2-4058-000 to correct the problem.
      if printer stays booted up with out it plugged in

          I believe I have already did what you have montined but I'll give a try again tomorrow.
          And I'll let you know the result thanks for the reply.

              Try replacing the RAM. Had a brand new ir2800 working fine then died after inputting an IP address. After swapping a bunch of parts the RAM brought it back to life. I must have RAM on my brain lately.

                  I didn't have a chance to go to see the machine today.
                  But this morning the costumer called and he said that the machine is working.
                  I'll go and try to print from PC myself. Thanks for the reply and I'll post the result.
