C3220 gradation error

Tech tried to do a full adjust gradation but it keeps telling him the test sheet isn't placed correctly. He is placing it correctly so what would cause this?

u first need to tell him to read this PDF BELOW>>>

your ITB Patch calibration images are miss-aligned -
do to ITB belt slipping/ it needs cleaning and or replaced

the image on the page could be in the wrong spot or out of alignment. The reader position of the reader assembly could be in the wrong spot causing the issue as well.

Check your cassettes, white space margins and image alignment.

also print out your TEST PRINTS

PG 10 pattern/ make sure color blocks don't overlap
PG 6 pattern/ check the grid pattern

this is what the PG10 SHOULD LOOK LIKE

Thanks guys, we took transfer unit out and put it back in and all is well, must have been seated in there wrong. Machine was moved recently.

yeah, you have to make sure the patch reader assembly is down
