I have a CLC3200 with a dead hard drive, is there anyone who could offer advice on how to get it going again? I have another CLC3220 but reading another post it seems that it is not possible to clone that drive and insert, thought I would ask before starting! I obviously have a new IDE drive ready to install but wondered if there is somewhere you can pickup an iso image for what should be on the disk by default? Thanks in advance.

Re: CLC3200 Dead Hard drive
Thanks for the input. I have read this thread - http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/ca...02-0602-a.html which suggests that swapping a drive from a similar machine is a bad idea, so I am really after the Service Support Tool relevant to the CLC3200 so I can hopefully start from a fresh hard drive. Otherwise I am quite familiar with cloning disks so would be happy to do that but am I risking messing something else up? The other machine I have is a CLC3220 which is also slightly different so I am not sure cloning the disk is the best idea? We do not have canon support and the engineer that normally helps me is more of a technical fix it rather than a software fix it!Comment
