[Misc] iR5570 Network ScanGear unable to detect IP

I installed the PCL 6 printer driver for the iR 5570 which is connected over a network cable.

Network printing works pretty fine but when it comes to scanning, Network ScanGear (the software responsible for scanning) seems unable to detect the machine's IP.

Do any members here experience such issues with scanning before?

which version of the scangear are you using and what OS do you have it loaded it on?

have you tried entering the IP in manually?

did u turn the Firewall off ? also what version of Network Scan gear did u use ?
