Copy speed problem

Hi all,
For Mf4320 copying speed for A4 paper size shuold be 22 ppm.
But one of our customer using smaller size paper like B5 or A5,It take about more than 2 minute to completed copying.
What cause to this problem? And i can't explaint to the customer.Should the small size of paper come out faster .Cause the MF spec say it all.
We send the MF printer to Canon,they try other MF model copying with small size of paper also same problem and they can't explaint what cause to this problem and need to refer to canon Japan.

Do anyone facing this type of copying problem or anyone that got MF printer,can you help to copy small size of paper and see what is the result.

11" x 17", LTRR, STMTR=These sizes always print at at slower speed (copying)

for instance on a 3200 _
LTR -continuous copies print out at 32 cpm
11" x 17", LTRR, STMTR- continuous copies print out at 16cpm-

Example of settings for a 3200
Direct Print
11" x 17"=16 sheets/minute
LGL=16 sheets/minute
LTR=32 sheets/minute
LTRR=16 sheets/minute
STMTR=16 sheets/minute


Copy speed max always states up to the max speed of unit

in your case it's -up to 22cpm for A4

Network printing is another ballgame when it comes to print speed

On back of most product brochures and inside the product reference manuals you will see the copy -cpm- listed as up to either the Letter size or A4 size this is how Canon and others sell their product.

u need to dig deep /to discover cpm or ppm for all other paper sizes -

they want to sell the notion that all paper prints the same cpm-
majority of sales people are still ignorant on the performance operation of products they sell
