    CANON IR C3220 Please Help!

I have a Canon ImageRunner C3220 that displays memory is full / counter limit. I am guessing the admin for this machine set a copy limit on the machine. Well the person who setup the admin information is no longer with the company so now they have a "frozen" machine.

    A. How do I bypass this?

    B. How do I clear admin username and password?

    C. Do I have to do a master reset on the machine?

    Thanks for your help.

Look in phone book for independent copier repair. Call them up and make an appointment. Mix up a batch of maragaitas and get comfy. When the doorbell rings, answer it, welcome the technician and explain the problem. Now, very important, start drinking those margaritas so you're feeling even more comfy. When you get the bill, pay it and give a nice tip to the technician. When the technician leaves, you'll be able to make all the copies you want.

I am a service technician. I am not familiar with this particular machine. I know how to get into tech mode, just can not find anything indicating a "master" reset of this machine. Please help. Thanks again.

That is the problem the company where this unit is at does not have the administrator password. How can we clear admins username and password, so that we can set the counters back to their default?

          Thanks again.

            Once again,

            OK Tech...

Go into service mode and follow the instructions "yourownfree" gave you. That will clear the admin password and allow you to go into additional functions and change whatever parameters you need to change.

Service Mode: (*Additional Functions), 2 and 8 simultaneously, then (*Additional Functions).

            Select: Copier>Function>Clear>PWD-CLR

After that, Viola, you should be off to the races.
