Canon MF6530 'insert toner'

Good afternoon to the hard working copier guys, I have a problem with a small canon mf6530, the display shows 'insert toner', up to now after trying 2 different toner carts I have been unable to resolve this problem, I would like to ask if any of you know the problem , or if you are conversant with the toner cartridge recognition process, or failing that have access to a service CD.

Hi Not ignoring you but most mfs are not realy serviced by techies .. they are considered plug and play disposable machines.. Check and see if there is a damaged door actuator or sensor actuated by a prong on the back of the cartridge .. All guesswork im afraid so Best of luck .. Oh just remembered some machines may not recognise non Canon parts ....

many thanks ' Irish' for your reply, I spent nigh on 6 hours for little reward, alas the machine has been returned by myself to the customer. On the bright side, we are now in the position to offer them a good quality refurb,with a maintenance contract for considerably less money than they were paying out on toner/drum carts every 90 days or so, so many thanks for your suggestions, enjoy the craic this weekend, and maybe one day I may be able to reciprocate for you.
