[Misc] shadow with thick black line in ir3300

Hi Friends ,

Please see the attachment & advise the solution please, I replaced the new original canon drum unit & cleaned all the mirror. The machine Model is Canon Ir3300.

do you get the same issues when printing internal test pages?

what did you clean the optics with?

Thanks for your reply.

Same problem when i print pg type copy & P print.

I cleaned the optics with dry cotton clothes.

I cleaned the laser unit also.

looks like over charge,i'd check the charge and bias adjustments in service mode to see if anyone has played with them previously.do you run oem toner in the machine?also was the drum you took out oem?

never said that,but i'd be checking to see if anyone has adjusted it.check the settings with the print which should be in the front door.do you know the history of the machine?whats the click on the machine?do you know if it's ever had a non oem drum fitted which may have caused a tech to adjust settings?

when you cleaned the laser unit did you take it apart or just clean the exterior lens? you might have dislodged a lens on the inside or have a smudge on the laser mirror itself

I guess and believe the develop bias settings have been tempered with.Go to service mode and do the adjustments on the bias settings thus:COPIER>ADJUST>DEVELOP>BIAS. Also try to look at the HVT settings.

hello try checking your coroner wires if they are dirty you will get a shadow print
