    CANON GP160

Hi guys, am working on a gp 160 having scanning problem. The machine warms and gets ready to copy. When you command to print, the scanner remains still at the same position and goes a head to pull paper out and eventually indicates paper jam. When you manually pull the scanner unit mid way and switch on the machine it goes back to home position and machine gets ready to copy,no error code shown. I have swapped the dc board, power supply, home position sensor, with no success. Assistance requested, thanks.

Scanner Motor / clock pulse in motor is probably toast

When printing check printer message does not appear. I also tried to swap scanner motor and main motor with no success. What is funny is that when machine is warming up,the error icon blinks for a while and the machine gets ready to copy.
