    CLC-1180 COPIES ISSUES

    Hello everybody, i have a problem with a clc-1180, when i make a copy the copy is like a test 05 but darker, i changed the analog card, standar white plate and the problem persist......what else i can do? ... Thanks....

    hi go into service mode/copier/test/PGtype and make sure it is on 0 not 5.

      a post of the sample would be helpful.

      do your auto-gradation pages print out correctly and scan alright when going through the process?
      have you reseated your image processor?
      clean the optics and run a CCD adjustment?

        is this on copies & prints ??

        over-saturation/ overtoning

        last full developer change ?

            doesn't sound like a developer issue as it is with copies only. You have a problem with you scanner and it could be from when you replaced the white plate. The white plates are coded if I remember correctly and if the machine is not reading it correctly you could be causing your own problem here.

            post a sample before doing any more work at this point

                make sure to clean the underside of the glass/ do not use alcohol !!

                also on the three mirrors >>do not use alcohol !!! and wipe one way
                also check if anti-reflection plate is bent
