JA012 + E051-0002 on Canon iR 7105

Hello to all ...
Another round another post .....

I have a problem on a Canon iR 7105: during the warm-up, the machine gives me jam code A012 ...
I open the duplex unit, where there is nothing, then reassembling, the machine gives me error code E051-0002.

Have you ever had?

Is there a solution?

E051 use to be a false duplex jam on the IR-550 and was always a bad MSW5 switch casuing the problem. I'm sure it is the same since the 7105 uses the same basic structure as the 550

E051 The horizontal registration HP detection has an error. PS18
0002 == After the start of horizontal registration HP detection, the home position is not
detected within 5 sec.

If an error is detected in the course of horizontal registration HP detection at
power-on, the machine will indicate the presence of a jam.

But, there is no paper jam, as well as, once open and close the duplex unit, the error E051 appears, although the mechanism is working properly .....

how do u know if horizontal registration HP is working/ when u still receive the E051

Replace ps18 and you'll be happy.
