ir7200 very light copy

Hi,

Within these 3 days the machine came out a very light copy near blank but it not on every pages. On 500 pages there got 50-80 pages are near blank in stack in the middle of copying.
I changed primary charging, transfer, pre-transfer and developer assy also no cure. Then i cleaned scanner mirrors nothing change. I dont know what else should i check and do. Please help

did you check your pre-exposure lamps to see if they are coming on?

dont forget to clean connector terminal w/ alcohol. it might help

Your laser might be getting flaky and need replacing.

1-check developer bias AC/DC
2-pre-exposure lamps/check connection

Did u check PG5

Had one do the same thing and it was the developer drive clutch.

Sorry teckat how to check PG5? Actually im not sure what is PG5?

Since we are having holiday for a week i might feed back slow in this thread after i try all the possibility solutions. But i need to wait them back on business then only i can go for 2nd try. Happy Holiday

service mode>copier>test>PG-Type to 5>hit (OK) and then hit start.
machine will output a test page with a grayscale on it.

iam facing same problem on same Model still dont know what to do more ,i changed two cylander original toner ,cleaned all the machine ,changed the laser still facing the same shet ,i pulled back the machine from the field and dont know what to do :S Why this Happen is there;s any bulltin about this Problem ?

what does your PG TEST Papers show


use the process of elimination procedure
write yours out/ then forward track on them > then back track <

Hi guys the problem fixed when i cleaned the Developing clutch, CL4 and Developing cylinder deceleration clutch, CL20 at the back of machine without changing a new one, wondering why theres an oily around those clutchs. Tested 2 days and it was find till now but we need to monitor again for another few days.
