[Error Code] Error code E218 on IR105

Hello every body


We've an IR105 where the scanning lamp life doesn't exceed 30 %. We're at our third scanning lamp replacement and each time, the lamp is getting burnt between 20 to 30 %. The lamp extremities are getting black with E218 0000 error code. In the same place and under the same conditions, we've an IR8500 with the lamp life of 120%.

Any idea?

did you make the lamp adjust when you installed the lamp?

I would be checking the voltages on my lamp inverter PCB, transformer PCB and reader controller PCB to make sure that the output on them is what it is supposed to be.

Specifically perform a voltage check on connector J943. This connector can be found on the Transformer PCB (it can be seen on the General Circuit Diagram, 1/2, at grid B1). The following voltages should be found on the connector during the Booting Process. If any of these voltage are not found replace the specifed PCB.

Pins Voltage PCB
1 38V Relay PCB
2 GND
3 40V Transformer PCB
4 GND
