The scanner does not return to the home position for vertical
scanning within a specific time.

Re: help IR5075 code E202 - 0101
You've to notice something important in this model: The DADF is equiped with a reading CIS. A duplex document is read with a single passage. So, open the DADF from the upper side. get access to the CIS rails, clean and lubricate.

Remove covers following directions in Chapter 3 in the IR5075 DADF service manual to access CIS drive motor and belt. Item 13 Figure A40, in the IR5075 parts manual is the belt clamp. Loosen the two screws and apply pressure to the clamp making sure the belt teeth are seated in the clamp. Tighten the screws and test for CIS homing and white plate reading. With the DADF front cover removed you can watch the CIS move from home to reading position by powering the IR5075 off and on
E202-0101: Backside reading glass (Contact Image Sensor - CIS) Home Position Error. The home position
cannot be detected in the direction (outward) of the home position of the CIS.
1. Open the top cover of the DADF.

2.Remove the input baffle.
3. Remove the turn-around baffle.

The E202-0101 is caused from the belt shown below not being adjusted properly or the M6 motor not getting proper voltage. Also check that the Glass Holder Assembly moves freely with no binding. Check the tie wraps on the connector for the M6 motor.
--------------------------------------------
Adjust belt tension/ U NEED TO LOOSEN THE SCREW ON PLATE > SCREW IS NEAR THAT SMALL PCB /U NEED A SMALL SCREWDRIVER TO FIT IN GAP>THEN PUSH GEAR TO TIGHTEN BELT> THEN TIGHTEN SCREW IN PLACE. DO NOT MAKE BELT TO TIGHT> IT WILL SKIP AND CAUSE NOISE & SAME ERROR CODE

Re: help IR5075 code E202 - 0101
Hi every body
I had this problem twice. As i said it before, the DADF CIS is mounted on rails. It's not moving easily to or from its home position, so try to clean the rails and, silghtly, lubricate them with CK-0551-020 ."Find a job you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life."
