some weird question

Hello for all ,

i want to ask about something happen with me some times in Canon CLC3200
its about cassette Separation Roller For CANON iRC3200 (FB6-3406-000 Feed/)

my question is this roller use as feed and separation right ,but some times they didnt work they made paper jam ,so till i change for a new roller separation to pass the paper without any jam why this happen ?

PS: this roller contain a gear when i change for a new one , i mean i change it to sparation roller without gear actually i didnt remember what the number of it.

Hi,

You observe carefully on the roller surface. is it grip on paper proppelly? some time this silicon rubber surface getting harden due to time (old stock) Then even you eplace the roller, it still jam because the old stock roller.

the rollers are crap

use only the gray ones-
cheap paper wears out the rollers surface / when u texture areas worn>replace them/
tip>>> carry extra
