    J0208 in Canon iR 1020

    Hi!
    I have an annoying problem on Canon iR 1020 ...
    The machine has just 3,000 copies and has frequently Jam 0208!
    In practice, does not separate well the first sheet from the second ...

    Suggestions?

      Inspect cassette pick up and reg.sensor SR 11.
      If it ain't broke, don't fix it

              try re-seating all connections on the Relay PCB

              add an extra wrap to the spring for SR11

              try replacing the SL2 solenoid
              ------------------------------------------------
              also do this adjustment---------------------
              Widen both the front and rear Cassette side guides all the way.
              Remove paper.
              Then remove both front and rear tabs on the right side to remove the black cassette paper support.
              Note: Do not lose the three springs.
              Next loosen both front and rear cassette side guide screws. Push outward 1-2 mm then tighten screws.
              Fit the three springs on the lower cassette.
              Then install the cassette paper support in tabs. Add paper and test.
