Are the two network cables going into the rip the right way around?

        image runner

you need to go into service mode *2 8 *
        then copier
        then option
change int-f to 4 or maybee 2 cant remember off hand
        restart machine

do not use a crossover cable normal patch lead needed

should then see the image runner

make sure you turn on the copier first then the m2

Like Irish said, make sure network cable is plugged into correct jack on rip..other jack goes to machine..make sure scsi cable is plugged in correctly..if all else fails re_install system software for rip..simple..its a cd..not like older rips needing scsi drive to install. First make sure option>int-face>img-cont is set to 1 for external fiery controller.Re-boot machine after making settings. This info is for M1..maybe different for M2
