    E583-8001 and E532-8001 on an ADV8105

I have an iRADV8105 that is giving both of those codes. I checked Knowledge Base and the Canon website. The D1 finisher sounded like something is binding when it goes into rotation. I also moved the stapler all the way to the back to see if it would return to home position. It didn't, it vibrated and wouldn't move. I brought it back to the front and tried it again. Same thing it sounds like something is binding. I moved the belts by hand, didn't feel out of the ordinary. I also checked the gripper rotating it by hand with no issues. I heard that there is a pub out regarding the gripper but couldn't find it on the website. Put it plainly...I'm stuck.

I have seen the 532-8001 code just last week where the tension was loose and the drive belt came off. I have not run across the 583 error though.

Found the problem. Apparently the machine had jammed prior to my getting there and there was a piece of paper logged in the belt that resides under the gripper towards the back. We found that one of the guides (towards the front) that collates the paper was stuck. Strange how it affected the stapler. Thank you however for the help.
