[Misc] 3220 with C1 FIERY WONT BOOT

I have a canon 3220 with a fiery c1 when it is powered up the fiery just hangs says first of all check power cable then says starting printer on mc lcd and when you go into printer screen it says wait and then just hangs and never comes to idle all activity lights on the fiery are ok .i have tried rebooting mc and fiery several times no joy.
Customer says the mc has been taking longer to power up on a morning sometimes 15 minutes for fiery to come to idle but has now just stopped booting
any ideas please

Open the C1 check all the connectors--
remove each dimm one at a time and see if the unit "boots" up to idle. If dimm replacement is necessary order part number: WA7-3556-000.

Try re-seating connector, memory interface cables between Copier and imagePass and also HD cable of the imagePASS.

The memory capacity of the imagePASS-C1 is 256MB. The standard configuration is (1) one 128MB DIMM in the inner socket, DIMM1 and (1) 128 MB DIMM in the outer socket, DIMM2 if expanded. When testing always keep one DIMM in the inner socket, DIMM1 so the C1 will boot properly.
