[Error Code] V1 Finisher 578-8001 code

Any one experience problems with intermittent 578-8001 code. Checked knurled belts and geared plate that tightens them and both check out. It seems that the machine runs for a while but intermittently will stop and make a screeching noise then pop 578-8001 code. Any help would be appreciated greatly. Machine has been on site for 5 years.

& what is the finisher firmware ver. ??
