is this issue on glass copies also ??
if issue is on all prints,test prints, copies & from glass
make sure the slit glass located on the scanner laser assembly is clean

is that print config page light area issue toward the front or back (non operator side) of printer ???

Perform D-Gamma adjustment
COPIER >FUNCTION > DPC> DGAMMA.
Press the OK key--paper is delivered as it remains blank, and APVC correction is automatically completed=
Press the Reset key twice to exit the Service Mode.
Re-seat transfer roller and confirm correct pressure.
check--HV Transfer PCB
check developing assembly cam pressure

as u can see the print attached here with. it goes lighter towars non operator side. in all prints like from scanner glass as well as test prints and prints from computer. laser slit glass is clean. also i have cleaned the laser. the print is perfect at bottom. when we move non operator side it gradually becomes lighter.
