    registration problem with c3220

got a c3220 problem, a DCON CLR was done on this machine and there is no P-Print inside the machine, the transfer belt was removed & checked for deformity of the belt due to a wavy pattern in the print, was re-installed and then the machine wouldn't register. This has happened before with this same machine. Someone did a dcon clr after that without doing a pprint, now I am trying to fix this mess. I reset all the laser to the home position, that did not work...anyone got any suggestions? the transfer belt is in good shape & clean, itb rollers are clean, gears are in good condition, not play. The registration is out by 3mm for all 4 colors in the paper feed direction...
    Thanks,

how many copies on the belt?

      easiest solution is:
a new belt and cleaner blade.
clean the drive rollers, and primary transfer roller, while you are there.

      re dc con values:
input the values on the door label.

If you replace the reader controller PCB or DC controller PCB, or clear the RAM, the adjusted
ADJUST and OPTION values are restored to their default values. Therefore, always enter the new service mode values on the service labels when you change the values as a result of adjusting the copier in the market.
        P PRINT.JPG

if u can't find a LABEL THERE FOR DCON UNDER FRONT COVER
print out a new service label- COPIER>FUNCTION<MISC-P>LBL-PRNT
        Select this item.
Press the OK key to print the blank label.

get a manual to check against the default settings and do a trial by error check/
or go to another 3220 and print out their label to check against

most important is to get those numbers back in for everything under the adjust screen
        & under the Option Screen

this may help if u have no manual>>>>>3200-3220 settings.pdf

I don't think you understood my original post, the ITB is nearly brand new, it is not slipping & there is no toner on the roller underneath the belt, I already checked that. Also checked the gears as well, everything is fine. A DCON CLEAR was done on this machine by an operator, they have no P PRINT in the machine, so I did try using values from another 3220's P PRINT but that didn't work either...not sure which values in COPIER ADJUST control the registration of the CMYK colors on the itb...another tech told me they don't have anything to do with color registration, from reading the service manual I came to the same conclusion, the reader assembly reads the test patches on the itb and automatically corrects for it, so if it is not correcting it on its own is there a manual adjustment in service mode 1 or 2???
          Thanks,

            you are asking many questions.
            RE your pprint values:
the values for the original pprint are the same as door spec. see pictures in previous post.

laser values are the only thing that would affect your issue.
there is no service mode adjustment for colour registration.

adjusting the laser home position is very tricky. it is manually done. the service mode adjustment does not work for this.
home position is not where it naturally clicks.

there is a full tech pub included in this post below, read all

              POST your pg10 & pg6

did u observe a pg10 on ITB sheet before separation takes place ?

is the Salt sensor in correct position
on power up>how do the pattern patches line up on ITB (is there a shift)

remove & re-set all laser CAMS to HP/ then do a DC CON CLEAR/ Again

i never set them all the way over to the window

Remove the blue delivery tray and you will see the laser values printed on each laser, enter these values in.

The Y pattern is used as the reference for Sub Scanning Direction

if your Yellow laser is not seated correct or yellow cam HP is off/ machine will try & correct the laser write start timing from the patches/ sometimes it can not over correct a poor HP Cam position

also check the Pattern Reader Assembly
