Canon IRC3080 colour registration problems - blurry image!

    Hi all

Can anyone assist in the following problem??:

I have a Canon IRC3080 that produces a blurry image where the colours are out of alignment. .

I have cleaned the ITB calibration sensors, ran auto colour correction and auto gradation. This didnt work. .

Then I performed a 'REG-CLR' followed by auto colour correction and auto gradation - no fix!

I then printed the DC CON printout before performing a DC CON CLR.

After the DC CON CLR, I then tested but colours were way out so again performed the auto colour correction and auto gradation.

    None of this worked!

The page count was short of 300k so returned to replace the ITB.

It worked for a week but now the colours are out of alignmnent again!

    Can anyone help?

        Hello,

Put back the door values (including the laser values).

Clean the ITB ATR sensors( Very important), because these two ATRs read the toners densities on the ITB and the color displacement. see the attachment.

check, if the transfer belt driving gear is in place and working. Seen it one time, the gear was brocken and fell of and....believe it or not, the friction between the drums and the belt was enough to drive the transfer belt further but with no chance to get color reg fixed.
just a shot in the dark, but give it a try.

My colleague had similar issue two weeks ago while trying to resolve crossfeed misregistration, cleared DC-CON and that affected thr CQ; dark background copies/prints. Many parts were replaced with no luck but clearing the MAIN & DC CON and re-entering values & autograde resolved the issue. You might have got the original P-print handy already.
