Re: ir 4570 jam
Hello,
If the paper jam is taking an accordion form, then, this can be caused by the sticking of the paper guide shown on the attached image. You can eliminate the two joints ( one is is front and another in the rear).

Sorry guys., letter normal drawer #1 and 2,the only tray i didn't test was the bypass. Plain 20lb. No nicks, creases on lead edge. The trail edge on the other hand is accordian. It happens if your copying or printing. No problem with legal and letter r. It is attached to standup finisher. Can't think of the modle#. Meter count is 225,000 clean enviroment average is about 5,000 per month. Thanks for your help again. This is a 200 mile round trip service call and need to get as much information i can before heading up there.Comment

Other possibilities:_______________________________________________Title : Jam code 0108 or 0109 Problem : When feeding letter media, paper jams just after the fixing assembly or Z folds. Inspect the 2nd Delivery Frame Assembly. It is possible for the bearing, pictured on Figure Q38 item 29 on the operator side of the machine, to drop out of the frame. This bearing is on the end of the 2nd Vertical Path Roller item 8.Reposition bearing back in frame. If there is excessive end play insert shim washer between the bearing and (E-clip) 2nd Delivery.bmp
Problem : Jam code 0108 with the trail end of the paper Z folded in the fixing assembly. Solution : The problem has been caused by a broken 1st paper delivery flapper in the 2nd delivery frame assembly. The part, FL2-1212-030 can be seen in the image below.Flapper.jpg Flapper break point1.jpg_______________________________________________
Problem : The copies z-fold and crease, when exiting the fixing assembly. Solution : Perform the following in Service Mode to correct this issue.Service Mode: COPIER > ADJ > FEED ADJ > LOOP CST. Set Loop CST to a lower value. Note:The default is 63; with a range of -128 to +127.Last edited by blazebusiness; 02-16-2012, 03:02 PM.sigpicAnything can be made to work if you fiddle with it long enough- San Diego Copier Repair.comComment

Re: ir 4570 jam
When the paper comes out with Z-Fold / Accordion / 3 Fold and jams after several copies with error 0108 Delay in PS14, it means that the fuser film is not rolling with the pressure roller.
Replace fixing film, Remove the old grease (IMPORTANT), Apply Grease and replace film.Comment
