[Misc] canon ir c5180 red bar on operator side

On my canon 5180 I get a red bar on the operator side along the 8.5 when running ltr
after about 50 copies. I run the auto grad. and it clears up but comes back. thanks for any help

sounds like your magenta drum is failing. can you post a sample of the problem?

sounds like the magenta drum is on its last leg. you can see the drum percentages in the service mode/ copier /misc.
