    Hello,

SST is not easy to use, first of all it is necessary to unzip the machine file which can be visible to SSTand send to the machine.

do you have the SST manual ?

    See you.

      Hi,
Firstly,You have to register firmware of model that you want
After that you can see that machine in list
      Good luck

If you look in the box that says "Available Model and Unit", you'll notice it's blank because you don't have any software registered in the Service Support Tool. You have to have the System Software and you need to "Register" it into the SST so you can connect and upload to the ImageRunner.

            where is system software?

do you have the system software to register? and what kind of cable are going to use? Some machines will only work with certain cables. You can also add the net hawk feature so you can use usb to parallel. You find out how in the user manual, it is too complicated to explain here. Also you need the system software for the machine you need to flash. Then go to register on the sst, then locate the folder and file and say register. if the ok button on sst does not highlight, it is not in the correct form to register and needs unzipped etc. once its registered it will appear in the box. No system software comes with the sst program. version 3.35 sst is out now, which you will need to flash the newer models. There are many obstacles when flashing. Its not always easy to do. The process is easy but most of the time you will run into problems and have to resolve in order for it to work. It is not very user friendly. My opinion. First thing i would do is get a newer version sst. then get the latest system software. You will need to know if your copier has to have also, a dc-con chip and rcon chip or can it be flashed. you will find that out by looking at the firmware chart Canon has. It tells you what the latest version is and what configuration you need to make it work. a lot of problems are solved by just flashing. Its good to keep up to date with the version on your copier. always back up address books etc before flashing.
