    [Error Code] IRC2620 E004-0002

I read some post regarding this error (E004-0002) but what i am encountering is during morning when one of my costumer switch on the machine. when the error pops they will shutdown the machine and open the left door (fixing assy door) and close and it will be okay again for the rest of the day. 5 consecutive days this happens.

i replaced the fixing unit assy and after 2 days same error comes. then i replaced the ps5 sensor and after 2days same error occur. we dont have stock for the interlock sensor (msw5 & msw6) and i already order it.

any suggestion for the meantime regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks...

make sure switches close together when testing (push arm in)

if MSW5 and MSW6 (fixing/feeding unit open/closed switches) are not actuating properly, it is possible an E004 will occur when the fixing drawer is pulled out.

A typical scenario is when the machine has a paper jam, the customer opens the fixing unit drawer to remove the jam and an E004 occurs. This is due to the fixing unit connector breaking connection to the fixing unit components before the fixing unit open/closed switches de-actuate.

also check the switches for continuity using your volt/ohm meter,
replace one or both if necessary and adjust the leaf spring actuators so that switches msw5 and msw6 de-actuate BEFORE the fixing feeding connector breaks contact when the drawer is pulled out. The switches should actuate and de-actuate pretty close to the same time.
