[Error Code] CANON IR2030 hanged up

PLS HELP. IR2030 hanged up. tha machine do not boot...the displays say" waiting"....but no activity or error appear after few minutes/hours. what are the other option to reset/solve the trtouble. thank you

hi, your copier do not is booting and appear the mensage download standy by you are must reinstall your system. Try install the last version of your system. I hope have to help you.

'Wait' State"
Try flashing the machine.
Power on with the 2 key held down (not 2 and 8, just the 2 key) this should cause the machine to go in to download status, display "DOWNLOAD CONNECTED".
This method of getting into download mode can be used to recover a failed upgrade or to try to flash a machine that will not boot up and come to ready.
Downloads are performed via USB connection, not network. Machine must be connected via USB prior to entering download mode.


If all the above is tried and still not able to recover machine, the IP PCB may be damaged or ROM is damaged.
Try re-seating ROM if you haven't already. Clean contacts with a dry eraser before re-seating.

hy i have the same problem with the same fotokopier canon ir 2030i.I cant find firmware for this machine on the net and driver.I like to tray frst with flashing the firmware.I tray with hold down key 2 but nothing hapend on the displsy only WAITING
