If the copy being made is from the copy board glass then there could be a deformity or an obstacle that tends to interrupt the movement of the scanner on one side.     2.If the copy comes out in the same format thru the ADF and the copy board glass,then the problem could be on the paper transport system just after or before the registration rollers.

    Please check the attachment as i am facing the problem in canon copier ir2200. Even if i run the p print from the machine problem is same, so pls advise.

      Maybe when the dev unit spacers wear down, the dev roller can arch to the drum & cause interference with the laser, that is the only explanation. Adjusting the dev bias may help?
