Problem connecting Finisher W1 to iRC5185

Hai, goodday to everybody,
I am having this problem when connecting the Finisher W1 to Canon iRC5185, when the machine ready and the print button is depressed, the print is not coming out and the machine is keep on idling only. If i disconnect the Finisher W1, i can do copy and print without problem. Is there any setting that i have left out? What is the procedure to connect the Finisher W1 to the iRC5185?
Hope to hear from you guys soon, any tips/advice will be much appreciated.

When you press paper select and you see a picture of the machine can you see the finisher ?
