It will run a couple of 5 page sets then it will start jamming on every set. The first set
goes through ok but when the paper is diverted into the buffer, the first sheet goes
around ok and it accepts the second sheet. When the third sheet enters the rear of
the LTR size paper crashes into the diverter fingers.
The diverter goes back and forth smooth, the solenoid seems to be working, no binds.
I tripped the top cover interlock and held the buffer down by hand to see if I could see
what is causing the problem, but it ran fine, 20 sets of 5 pages.
I cleaned all the rollers involved and stretches the springs under the cover to put
more pressure on the buffer but none of my efforts made a difference.
What am I missing here?
