I have a 1023 that flashes the data light once and nothing prints. We can ping and get into web browser. Any ideas. Thanks

Chances are you have the wrong print driver for the machine, if it is the generic one Canon have on their web site you would be lucky to get a page through it. Reload the latest UFRII driver from the Canon download centre or use the disks that should be with the machine.
The fact that you can ping the machine and use the RUI tells us that there should not be any problem with the network connector.
Can you let us know what driver(s) you have installed please. -

Unless you have the PCL interpreter installed you'll want to go with the UFRII driver.Comment

Yep PCL was an additional extra that had to be installed, load the UFRII drivers which was standard to the machine an everything should be fine.Comment
