    post a pg10 test print
    & a single PG5 for CYAN at 255 output

remove side cover over Manual Feed> to view ITB when doing these test prints> observe lay down on ITB

check Drum ground tab position- Check and clean the drum ground tab located inside the front drum access cover.

3200.jpgSeems to come and go so perhaps the Drum ground tab will do just that?

seeing that PG10/ U need to check your CYAN primary charge roller position inside the ITB unit/
make sure the end shaft is locked in the black plastic tab/spring loaded catch and is not damaged

The pascal Cyan setting is -2

                    Same as the previous P-Print

OK....I Swapped the Laser. NO CHANGE..
Printed out a New Cyan PG-5.
Notice the top Drops out approx 1/8 of an inch AND Then it is Darker at the top and slightly fades light as you go to the bottom of the printout?
WOW... This is driving me Crazy!!!!
Somekind of communication problem I suspect???

Remove small side cover to view ITB>run the PG5 CYAN> look at ITB SHEET>is the image fade off visible on sheet ??

if so> remove ITB & ITB SHEET> inspect that CYAN Primary charging roller position> sometimes they look level> have u replaced this roller before ??

if pg5 cyan image is solid on ITB> before separation>suspect the HVT 1 for Cyan or swap connectors with another color--
if fade is after separation >suspect the HVT 2

At some point you need to swap the lasers back or swap the values for both colours,
The values are also written on each laser.

I re-set the values in for the "New" Laser. I have another machine I use for Parts so I just put one of those in. Thanks!
