IR2270 rdf misreads paper size

I have an IR2270 in the field that the feeder reads letter size paper fine but if you put a Letter R or Legal sheet in, it asks for 11x17 paper. I know I've seen this in the past but cannot recall what the fix was......thanks for any help you can offer.

do the width adjustments. If that does not work you need a new VR

I agree with vigour, however before you change VR, please check your paper size sensing sensors, as I have had that problem before, a sensor was bad and another with the sensor flag broken and missing.

Hello,

sevice mode> Feeder>Function

Put an A4 on the feeder and select TRY-A4 then OK

Put A5R and select TRY-A5R and then OK
