Someone was kind enough to get me the firmware which includes firmware for the 6530 series and firmware for the 6540 series. I've been able to correct this problem on the 6530 but on the 6540, sst gives me an error code 11 and says the wrong model is connected. 6540 uses "6500 series" and 6530 uses "6530 6550". Regardless of which version I use, sst tells me I'm connected to 6540 but it doesnt match the selected model. I dont know of any firmware upgrades. Any help would be great.

I used the 6500 like the manual says but sst still says model doesnt match. Tech pub and manual both say 6500 firmware for 6540. Got a used 6530 for customer so I have time to play with this. Will repost when I get it fixed. Thanks for your help.
