    IR4570 will auto restart ..

    Hi all ,

    I'm facing an issue again !
    IR4570 will automatically restart itself ! before the machine restart , the touch panel will not function before the machine restart.. ( touch panel jammed )..
    anyone facing this before ? last few days i've try to change the hard dise .. but still the same..

          Disable the Multicast Discovery setting.

          To disable the setting go to:

          Additional Functions>System Settings>Network Settings>TCP/IP>screen 3 of 5>Multicast Discovery=Disable

          Power off the imageRUNNER for the changes to update on the machine. Power unit on.


          Main Controller PCB.

                          i had a similar issue with IR3245. Machine would lock up and then auto restart no error code no alarm code.-on this one there had been some kind of power spike that went through the NIC and fried the main PCB at the net port with no real visual damage.

                          power off and disconnect network cables then power on, does the copier run ok or restart? if ok power down and plug in network cable and power up does it lock up and reboot?

                          replace the main controller PCB
