[Error Code] Canon Ir7105 Finisher V1 - various error codes

Hi everyone, This is my first post and I'm hoping someone can help. We have a V1 finisher that is displaying various error codes.

E568-8001 fault in transport roller HP sensor or transport roller shift motor
E566-8001 fault in horizontal registration sensor or horizontal registration detection unit shift motor
E540-8001 - fault in tray A lift motor or finisher controller PCB - tray A rotation sensor

We thought the common cause to all three errors was the Finisher Controller PCB, We verified by trying the board in a working finisher. We got an immediate E540-8001 so we had a new board overnighted. When the new board was installed we got an eeprom error since the new board didn't have an eeprom installed on it. We took the eeprom off the old board and went right back to an E566-8001 error.

Can the eeprom be the cause of our problems or are we barking up the wrong tree.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Motors on that finisher often go bad, and some of them BLOW the boards (e.g Motor Driver), so tred carefully.
I have had to replace that horizontal motor, so it is a likely candidate.

Agree w/Vigour, the motor blows a pico fuse on the driver bd. Repl motor before bd or you will blow the fuse again.
