    [Misc] IR 5570 - Blank Copies Using ADF

    Hi All,

    I have iR 5570 machine with the ADF.
    Sometimes when i want to make copies from the ADF, the papers that come out are BLANKS.

    I have tried replacing with another ADF, and it still does the same thing.

    Have anyone experienced this problem?

      check your READER cable & Reader pcb




      User presets and mailboxes maybe lost after performing the MMI Clear.

      To perform an MMI clear enter service mode and perform the following. Select Copier > Function > Clear > MMI > 'Ok' and then power cycle the machine.
      **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

          Thank you for the reply.

          When i mean sometimes, it sometimes works properly and sometimes does not.
          more often, it does not.

          I have tried replacing the Reader PCB and clean the Reader cable flat, but still no luck.
          Also with the MMI Clearing.

          Ps: My DADF does not look like the attached picture. I believe yours is IR 5055 or IR 5075, which is the newer version of iR 5570.

              Did you make a print tests also,to be shore about the reader?

                          My money is on the user placing paper on far right sensor flag (a3 detechtion sensor) when copying a4. Took me several visits to a customer before they finally did it before my eyes
