[Error Code] Canon IR3080 error code e000025-0001

I got this error code e000025-0001, I tried browsing the web about this error and majority of them are saying that this is a toner motor issue? can anybody help me with this? is this a toner motor issue? I can still print black but I cannot print colored.

Do you have any pictures of where is the toner motor? If I need to change it where can I buy it?

    Thanks a lot in advance!

You need to clean the Meg toner senser. remove front cover under the toners, second senser from the left.

You have removed screws on the left and right correct?

There is one hidden, in the middle next to the 2nd or 3rd laser cleaning path. Take that screw out and the front should come off.

        Edit:

If you haven't - you need to take the waste toner out. The screw is directly between the 2nd and 3rd laser cleaning path.
Have you tried turning it off and on? No...Oh, it works now!

            No problem!

Also, you may sometimes get an error where it's asking you to change the waste toner bottle on this machine, even when you change it to a brand new one it will say the same.

If this happens, where the waste toner gets fed into the bottle you have a photo-interupter sensor above it, if this is dirty with toner (Which it does get dirty - i have it once or twice a month at least!) this needs cleaning! Took a while for me to find that out too!

Yellow toner seems to spill everywhere on these machines for me... no idea why

              Hello Jamesu

Just a small info about your comment.

The machine won't ask to replace the waste toner bottle ( it does it when it's full) but it displays a message for placing a waste toner bottle because it does not detect it ( corresponding sensor is dirty)

hey i would try cleaning toner sensors. slide out process unit, remove cover under toners and you will see sensors for each color and usually one of them gets toner in it and causes code, ive had several errors and cleaning sensors has always done the trick
