Hi

I have a problem with a copier ir 2016, in the display appear change new toner, but it is not necessary because the bottle of toner is full, also there are black lines in the photocopies sometimes.

I have cleaned the antenna rod of the developer, but the photocopier only has worked one day, I am
going to replace developing unit.black lines ir 2016.jpg

anyone knows the problem ? do you think replacing developing unit is a good decision ?

is that a copy of a white sheet of paper off the glass ??
is that a paper feed direction of front to back lines ?

it is a a4 white copy without document, it is NOT a4r copy

the sheet goes out in the direction of the arrow

Do you think it is a good idea replacing developer unit?

Please cek this part PLATE, TERMINAL, SLEEVE, with part number FC6-4170-000. I have found poor contact this plate to bias . also clean rod antena at rear side near gears

Fixing film can't spinning properly.Replace fixing film and use fixing grease by procedure.

Why should change dev unit??, it'll cost u a lot of money instead of changing that part, u know the most important thing is how to make shaft connected to plate bias on rear cover dev assy. I found this plate broken, and I throw away, then I modified using a small plate so that shaft of dev assy still connected to dev bias..

I found this plate broken, and I throw away, then I modified using a small plate so that shaft of dev assy still connected to dev bias..

becuse I had a second hand developer ;-)
