ir3300 jam even a single copy

Hi, we got a ir3300 its working find when they copying A4 using by-pass and A3 using tray 1 and 2. But it always jam even a single copy of A4 made using tray 1 and 2. and the jam code is 0111 - delay jam - image leading edge sensor (PS12). The paper cannot go thru the transfer roller it stop at transfer roller like it never function at all after the paper went thru registration rollers. I cleaned the sensor PS12 Image leading edge paper sensor, ps10 Registration paper sensor and ps11 Horizontal registration paper sensor it still jam in single copy. I dont know how to make it run A4 using a cassettes ... Anyone can help?

Hi,

Try to use another type of A4 paper or at least cut an A3 in two and print. Make a feedback.

Its working fine when using manual feed tray. We load A4 paper on both cassette deck 1 and Deck 2, both jam. A4R and A3 Working fine on both tray.

It still jam even we tried 70gsm and 80gsm different brand of papers

Assuming a4 is similar to ltr, when the trail edge leaves the reg roller it relies on the belt to get it to the fuser where longer paper can be "pushed" into the fuser. I've had the black fuser guide on the left side of the transport bed break from customer "aggressiveness" (kind words so as not to trash the customer). Get a flashlight and watch the paper travel.

I have seen.... where on the Paper Size adjustment knob is on the cassette unit, there is a little slide switch for Inch or Metric on the lower side of the blue dial. This can cause that very problem

hi...i support Tim c opinion ...it sounds like paper size issue...you can ensure this by try to copy a4R
on stack by pass.....thanks

I always check the paper size setting knob first. This has saved me a lot
of time.
If it is set right, then trip the interlock and watch the paper.
But after looking and re-reading I think it is set wrong.
