PDF/A is the ISO standard for the long term storage of PDF files, it embeds information for the correct display of fonts, colours, etc. rather than just linking the information which may become corrupted.
I have had a look on the service manuals and sales info for the machine and it makes no specific mention of this format on both of the send kits.
However going out on a limb with this it seems to me in that the way in which the send kits work and the fact it has to go to so many different types of systems it seems that this standard would be used anyway, but as I say this is going out on a limb.
The send kits either allow you to send in the first place or add extra features like OCR and digiatally signing documents.
If this standard is vitally important to your customer it may be worth a dedicated scanner that makes specific mention or use of this format, else normal PDF should be OK. As a side note the new iR Advance range do make specific mention of this format so if the machine is coming up for renewal this could be made a selling point.

Thanks for the help but you are not familiar with PDF/A like me!Aren't you?.Customer need PDF tipe A.
Thanks.
Sorry/ overlooked that/ like mjarbar just stated/ only think ADVANCED models support feature-
PDF/A is a format standardized by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO 19005-1) for long term storage of electronic documents in a manner that preserves the visual appearance over time, independent of the hardware/software platform.
PDF/A consists of two versions, PDF/A1-a for electronically originating files and PDF/A1-b for scanned files.
imageRUNNER ADVANCE models will support PDF/A1-b, allowing users create this archival file format directly from the device. Since PDF/A format is intended for the long-term archiving of electronic documents, it must be self contained:
-Fonts must be embedded
-No links, dynamic features and multimedia elements
-No security features (i.e. no encryption)
PDF/A-1b is not compatible with the following Universal Send features:
PDF Reader Extension/ Encrypted PDF/ PDF Visible Signature/ Adobe LiveCycle Rights Management Server/ Searchable PDF.
The user must set this function via Settings/Registration and once activated, all PDF that are generated from the device will be in PDF/A-1b format and other PDF features will be greyed out and not available.
